What about my story dosent make sense?
The whole thing about how you ran a stop sign or sped or something and got charged with a felony. There has to be more to the story and it's got nothing to do with any DA. You know how I know that? Because DAs don't work in traffic court.

So what else is going on? Enquiring minds want to know.

Maybe the above wasn't clear enough. I'll try again. Below is your original hard luck court story -

ORIGINAL: SAudi
OK, so i was in court yesterday for speeding. my lawyers name was Bush(thats says im in trouble). so anyways this is my second speeding ticket which was recended due to court supervision and i have a conviction for supposidly rolling a ****in stop sign. The Piece of **** judge sentenced me to 150 hours of community service(either that or 2 weeks in jail), $200 fine, and 18 months conditional discharge, plus i cant leave the state of ****in illinois without the consent of the court. What do you think, any lawyer help would help.

also my license is getting suspended!!!
Now on this thread you have graduated to a felony charge. I just don't see the felony in there. Does the felony charge spring from a different incident? Felonies are kinda like the seven deadly sins - they have names like felony murder, arson, kidnapping, rape, vehicular assault, etc. Speeding is not a felony. Neither is rolling a stop sign. No matter how many times you do it. So what felony were you charged with? What did you do so that a DA might think that he had a shot of getting a conviction on a felony charge?

Also, violations like speeding and running stop signs end up in traffic court. How did you move from traffic court to city/county/state/federal court? Did you have a brick of pure Bolivian flake in your car when you got pulled over? Were you transporting minors across state lines for sale in a slavery ring? Did you commit any violation of the law besides what you described above? Do you have a long history of legal troubles?

You don't have to answer any of that stuff if you don't want to, but your story has puzzled me since you first posted it. Most people don't need lawyers in traffic court, unless they have a loooong and troubled record, DUIs, etc. You may need some better legal advice, but it is hard to tell without the full back story.

when I was a young chap/school boy my parents decided to emigrate to Africa, father was a chief draftsman for British steel/ICI (I never got on with the white african/voortrekker always fighting) but had a good life ish, had to come back to the UK due to fathers health "he gave blood before the sea crossing" and it cost him his life ( his blood clotted over the years and he got thrombosis ),

he was diagnosed to die within 2 months in Africa/money but lived for 14 years in the UK which is why we came back.

now down to the nity grity I had to be hard because he was and had to fight back "he was devious and sneaky and it got worse" excepted what was happening because the specialists told me what would happen and they wanted to put him away in a home that was a no no well the rest is common sense now I'm living with my mother who is 82 but ill manage, there are things I wish I could have done but I was immature now im wiser

lol. That is good advice. That story has me more confused than SAudi's trouble with the law.

I figured those issues would work themselves out after we determined that he wasn't going to spend the next 2 decades in the pokey.
