little known fact: that has NOTHING to do with why milk is no longer delivered by milkmen, anymore. BUT, if they still DID, that little snippet WOULD make them think twice about continuing the practice, I'm guessing.

Those in more expensive neighborhoods still get their dairy products delivered by a milkman straight into the kitchen and into the fridge.
I know this because this is what my father did for 30 years.
