Yup, a recruiter said "sorry we don't accept prior service." Which is ridiculous to me, why wouldn't you hire someone with years of experience. To me it sounded like "sorry we don't want you roughnecks in our little exclusive group.

I know. D1kweeds ruined my whole day when they told me that[&o] Now I sit here fixing to leave again for another 12 months, knowing it could be for only 4 months if I had been able to switch. Oh well, at least I know that nobody from the air force can make fun of me, unless they are taking shots at my lack of intelligence for joining the army instead of the AF.

That's really weird, I know when I commissioned they were cutting people from commissioning sources for any reason they could come up with.

Someone need to update that thing. The Air Force no longer has the bike test and the fitness test we do have requires you to be pencil thin and run like Forrest Gump to pass, in which case you will have enough points to skip the push ups and sit ups entirely and still pass.
I tell you what, it does seem ridiculous to make a waist measurement worth 30 points. Luckily I use those 30 points in my favor.

When are they planning on sending you out again? I know I'm thrilled to experience my first AEF. It should be quite the experience to see how well the concept doesn't work, or does, who knows.
