Any other Discovery channel junkies catch the show on tonight about the Milau Viaduct? Insanely high and long bridge built to finish the road connecting Paris to the Mediteranean. It was so impressive, I watched it instead of the playoffs for an hour. Unfrigging believable.

 

That was cool!!!! I caught the last half of that. I thought they got pretty lucky both sides lined up perfectly, or I guess they are just that good.

 

I thought the same thing. Tell me that the lead engineer didn't need a new pair of shorts after that last launch.

 

Thart sounds very cool , have you seen the one special they had about a year ago on tha bridge they want to build in Alaska to connect to russia they said if it were done we could drive to 6 of the 7 continents.

 

Yes, I have seen that. Bits and pieces though, I haven't seen the whole thing beginning to end. Do you know what kind of bridge they are planning?
