So some of you may have read my thread about getting pulled over for bad plates. Long story short, my plates were cancelled by mistake/error and now the only way to get my car back on the road is to get new plates/new inspection.

So basically Wednesday I have to bring my car in for a mechanical inspection before I can get my new plates.



Anyone ever had an inspection done before? Anything I should do to the car to make sure it passes? Any little things to look for?

The car is stock, my only concern is there is a recent noise from the front left, my guess was control arm bushings... would they catch that?

Any info about this subject will help me sleep better. I'm just afraid some crazy inspector is gonna send me home with a huge repair list or something...
