Me and thermostats (rant)
Me and thermostats have not been getting along this winter.
First theA4's therm started to stick open not letting the car warm up completely. Then last night around 2am I woke up to a 90 fecking degree house because the therm broke! It's 20-30's degree's outside here and I shut off the heat completely at 2am. MY house is still in the mid 70's! My saltwater tank has jumped up to 81.5 degree's which is really bad for all the fish and other inhabitants I spent hundreds of dollars on and countless hours of care. [:@]So for right now I have ice packs around the filter to bring that down and will be heading off to Home Depot in a bit for new therm. Deff. not the best way to start a Friday.
OK I feel better now.

I'm not sure the fish will like the dry ice but it WILL look cool.
It was weird because we were outside and the air conditioner was compressing even though its set to heat. I went in and double checked the setting and wake up to a 90 degree house. I'm going to try and find a therm that can lock out anyone with out a code. (like a cell phone) Not sure if there is such a unit but I'm sick of people changing the temp to ridiculous settings. (like 65 in the summer and 78 in the winter) 72 all year round is perfect for me and Choco-dog.
The nice thing about today is its snowing pretty goodwhich will make for a fun drive to Home Depot.

+1 for that. I love mine and it does make a difference. In NY, you need to take advantage of every break you can get and that one, for $30 or so, was one that you can't pass up.
