apg - when you got hired, didnt you fill out an app w/ your availability? Then tell your boss - thats what you accepted the position for was under those circumstances... Your availability hasnt changed...

oh and if worse comes to worse at least the lemonade stand is tax exempt (sssshhhhhh)

it has changed. i said this is my availbilty for the summer and that when it got closer to school it would change. That what im doing now.

 

Best job I ever had was with LA County Public Works, fixing traffic lights. Had my own truck and I would drive all around the county fixing lights. Of course I would sleep half the day... but that got depressing after a year. They hire student workers for part-time work. People are great and the job is probably the most laid-back job in the world.

 

i currently work as a Cargo Ramp Agent for Swissport. We are a ground handling company that gets airline/cargo contracts. I get to be around planes every minute on my job and its awesome. i wish the pay would change, as in more . 9/h isnt cutting it, but its just an awesome job so i dont want to quit. We are restructuring so things will go either good or really bad. hope we get bumped up to 12/h pay.

anyway, my other jobs included .. desk job, khols (dont go there) ,construction, more construcion and some more. construction is fun and it pays good. especailly when there are no taxes involved

 

so its offical my boss ownt give me the hours i need for shcool so i put in my notice today and im making sat. my last day.
