i would like to take this opportunity to again congratulate ttkid for his life changing decision. i am proud to have you represent me and the rest of my country and i'm sure you will do well in whatever area you decide to persue. that's a pretty big step and i know your decision probably weighed heavily and i commend you for your courage and commitment.

If only it were limited to 20 and you could knock them out as fast as possible.
If I've learned anything, it's that a single push up can last 20 minutes.
edit- WTF? Where'd my avatar go? That's it, I'm going to beat someone for this.

ouch.
i gotta say....you guys are tough.
i'm impressed by all of you.
this may sound goofy. but when ever i'm in an airport and i see a military man in uniform. i always feel like going up to him and randomly thanking him for his service and commitment. i never do, but i should. i hope it would make him feel as good as it would make me feel.

To be competitive for promotion in the Marine Corps you will need to score at least a 250 on this test. Very few people ever get 300. After 8 years, my best score was a 297. I lost 3 points on the 3 mile run. I finished it in 18 minutes and 26 seconds.
Also you will have to shoot "Rifle Expert" in boot camp if you even wanted to consider anything to do with marksmanship. Like I said before, If you want a no BS answer ask me, not the recruiter.

I'm sure it would. But yeah man, best of luck to ya. And always ask prior service members, not the recruiters. They stop caring about you after you leave for basic. Their sole goal in life is to get you to sign.
