Default MA Light laws

I searched this on the forums and through the MA DMV but couldnt find what I'm looking for. I know that states have legal limits for the color of head lights regarding HID's but i couldnt find where MA defines the limit. The last thing i want to do is buy a HID kit and then get pulled over and get a fine and half to remove it.

Thanks for looking and your input

I actually know this! Technically, all aftermarket HID kits are illegal since none of them are DOT approved, and the going concensus is that anything over 8000k is unlikely to pass your safety inspection, and I've seen people get pulled over for them. It's more than just a 'fix-it' ticket, too, they tow your car because it will be deemed unsafe to operate. Be safe and smart, stick with 6000k or lower. Besides, the higher temp you go, the less light you actually put out. Lights aren't a fashion statement, they are to help you see.
