very cool. i'm sure it was a treat for the kids. where i grew up it was never helos touching down.. we had hot air balloons landing all the time in the nearby fields.

 

I see military helos coming & going every day where I work. We have a National Guard station on the airport grounds, and I see all kinds of stuff coming & going. Last week during lunch, we saw a C-130 performing touch-n-go's, and about once a month we see a couple of F-16's doing very low fly-bys. There's a guy here who keeps two Czech MiG's... one's purple & the other one's candy apple red.
