i test drove an 2002 A4 1.8t QM today.. i understand why you guys like these cars so much. many of you know that i don't ACTUALLY have an Audi yet, so i wanted to see what all the hype was about. amazing. i drove a 325xi directly after the A4, no comparison, the Audi was a much better drive. just had to share my new found Audi excitment.

im not sure of this but isnt the b6 the first new car under the new audi president and philosophy. The reason i went with it was because it was a nicer bigger car. It performs superior to the previous generation. All the interior stuff is all opinion i personally like a clean smooth look, i wouldnt even put in a radar detector because i dont like the clutter. but there isnt anything wrong with a b5 either. its design was so cutting edge when it came out that it aged well during its long production run. but the reason the b6 was born was because like everything there is room for improvement, newer upgraded technology, etc. when i bought my b6 at the auction i was close between a b5 s4 or a b6 a4 both were selling for the same depending year and mileage. i went with the b6 but i have no doubt that i would have gone with a b5 s4 if the right one showed itself.

I dunno how all you hardcore b5'ers prefer the b6 s4 over the b5 s4... hmm.
If I had the $ for either, I'd be torn between the b5 and b6 s4. To me, it is like a 1.8 vs a 2.8... the b5 s4 starts smaller, but you can mod it to the moon!
