I was watching some show an dthey were playing a racing games iwth eitehr Champ Car, F1 or IRL cars in it. It has been out for at least a year b/c it was filmed last year. Anyone know hwat its called. I only know of one openwheel racing game and its cart fury and it wasnt that. It looked like a Gran Turismo.

 

might have been gran turismo, there are f1 cars in there. actually its only one f1 car in a bunch of different colors in gt4 but in gt3 there a like five different f1's. if its not gt4 it might be EA's formula 1 game which i think they halted production on in 03 cause people in the US only like racing in circles, we dont know how to handle right turns

 

Da,mn those right turns.. they are so much trickier than those easy-**** left turns!

 

You might be thinking of TOCA 2.

The game was released for the PS2 and XBOX. Damn good game... and you can set one of the triggers to be a clutch.

 

2 thing first off toff you drive on the wrong side of the road its different for you

and second i just looked at that toca 2 game and it looks pretty insane, is it a good simulation? or is it some arcady type simulation?

 

Its kinda both... it has been quite a while since Ive played it. I think you can tune some cars but I dunno... you basically follow along a linear path when racing. You have a career mode which takes you from being an AM to a PRO. You have specific cars for different events... so its different from GT in that respect. The game is damn good though... and for the price, its a good buy.
