LOL... yeah the sand thing got AF some unwarranted attention...

 

almost reminds me of when I was working at a local shop a few years back and a lady had filled her low brake fluid resivoir with washer fluid and wondered why the brakes blew out on her lexus after a few weeks.

 

Me and a buddy ran straight water in the crankcase of an old ranger he had lyin around. We waited and waited, revving it up like crazy, it took a suprisingly long time for anything to happen, and even after that the engine still cranked over and fired up... Way more than 3 minutes. This is the same truck that we flipped on its side to pull the tranny rather than gettin under it, just for some background info... It was nothing worth saving.
