RE: Lil Wayne
Lil Waynes recent stuff has been catchy and something I can sit and relax too. I really like Lollipop, its got a great beat.
I haven't really looked into Lil Waynes older stuff but I just ordered this new cd from him that I can't find anywhere;

I do really like his flow in "We Taking Over" though.

Jay's stuff is alright. I'll listen to a few tracks once in a while but not everyday cruising music. Nas was above him at their time. He killed J with "Ether". But the rap genre has deteriorated by a buncha Soulja's and finger snappers and steppers or w/e they do. Intelligent lyricism and storytelling is long gone. That's why I always listen to Dr. Dre, first 2 Eminem LP's, DMX, amongst others.

Yea i usually don't hear him rapping about ****** hoes/shooting people etc, except for "Ask Dem Hoes" lol, 1000 degrees is the best song off the Carter, and even though tupac is such a classic i don't think he compares to Wayne in the least bit. I do not think Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive, if any of you listen to Immortal Technique you know how crazy his songs are, they are more lyrically intelligent but Wayne has so many albums!!

I didn't know they didn't work together anymore, I've stopped paying attention to just about everything that gets on the radio here. Denver isn't a Hip-hop mecca or anything so our station plays a fraction of what I've heard in places like LA or FL. I do admit that Lollipop is a good song, but overall his sound and lyrics don't move me much. I'm definitely not trying to hate on someone elses taste in music, if you like it bump that ish,
