Yeah, if it was legal in CA, I would totally jump on it.

So it's not legal.

But if it were legal you would buy it so you can do something illegal?

Irony!

I'm already car poor and it seems kind of pricey.

I think I'll just not speed.

Even if I do speed, that is quite a few tickets I can pay before equaling the cost of that thing.

No offense to your wonderful laser interfering with doohickeymabob

I want something that would allow me to completely EMP a state trooper and leave him stuck on the side of the road. Sell me that, then I'll buy.

I don't trust you. Too many BMW's in your signature.

I would buy it and save my self from a ticket or two.

I mean if the state allows it, why not use it. In which it wouldn't be illegal if the state says that it is legal and lets people use it.

LOL @ MrFlippant!

none taken but me still being young, the cost of insurance far outweighed the cost of a ticket for me.

as for legality, its not exactly legal in my state either. you can find legality here:

for those who don't know their states laws.

luckily, every single law enforcement officer i encountered had no idea what the boxes on the front and rear of my car were, and didn't even bother to question it. its a very little known device, and if you make sure to cut it off when you get down to the posted speed limit, the officer shooting you will have no idea. IF, by the tiny chance, they do ask you what those boxes are, the laser interceptor has a "parking aid" mode, and you can just let them know its a parking aid, and they are more than welcome to wave their hands in front of them to see for themselves
