I've been using one for a couple months. Just make sure to wipe the excess oil off of the filter

the biggest problem with the k&n filters is the users, who over oil the filters after cleaning them
as long as you wipe off the excess before installing you should be fine

Thats the oiled filters might cause some problems to our MAF sensors.
Some people still buy K&N with the oil, and just dry them outside on a hot wheather for a couple of days )) Or just go ahead with a regular one.

Or just throw it in and take the risk; I have with every vehicle I've ever owned, but I tell customers to let it sit out.
Was running a drop-in on the Audi, and now a cone, both K&N. Ran the drop-in for 2 months, so pretty much wasted $40, but whatever.

K&N have some interesting vids on youtube to test the 'myth' that their oil fouls MAFs. They actually took a MAF, submerged it in oil, and then ran it. Took a little bit for it to clear itself up, but it functioned normally again. They also tested airspeed thru a filter, to see what it'd take to pull oil off a filter. Wind meter read 12mph windspeed thru the filter WOT with a N/A motor. Something like 90mph at the throttlebody, once the cross section is reduced, velocity picks up, obviously.
Im gonna guess any 'issues' relating to an air filter is most likely 'operator malfunction'.
