lol... spelling is not my pet peeve - it's the grammar and sentence structure...

I get enough twits, methheads, street punks and simian throwbacks that wander in to get their vehicles - reading it here gets slightly irritating - but it's mostly done in jest so I'm cool [&:]

Personally, I'm OK with it, as long as it's colloquial, in nature. This isn't school, after all, it's the interwebs. It takes all kinds. Plus, we have a culturally and regionally diverse group, here. Not all speak American (as opposed to English, 'eh TechBod?) as their primary language. Tell me, OP, how MANY languages are you conversant in? Can you communicateas well on the Left Bank as you can the West Bank? How about Atlanta, Georgia as Soviet Georgia? Detroit's East Side and NYC's UES?

Here's what *I* understand about communications, having travelled halfway around the world and back again, speaking (with varying degrees of proficiency) 4 languages and countless dialects, and billing myself as a professional Cunning-Linguist:
There are 4 parts. Sender/Reciever/Message/Confirmation
If the Reciever understands the Message and provide the Sender Confirmation, hit dont matta WTF yu talkin' 'bout, Willis!

 

regardless of languages there are twice+ as many dialects and that's why the net struggles with English because its the most typed/spoken ,
