is it just me, or does poor grammar bother anyone else?

is it just me, or does poor grammar bother anyone else?
When I was a member of the Nissan forums I understood that most of the people in the forums were young and probably hadn't finished high school yet.
I expected that coming to the Audi boards I'd see a difference in the postings. So far, I really can't tell a difference.
People constantly misuse the following:
Their - possession
There - in a place
totally omit they're - they are
What really gets me is adding an "s" to words that should not be plural such as "mines" or "for reals".
People say they do research about a company but don't know to use an 's at the end of company and instead use the plural form - companies.
If one is trying to make a point, it is hard to take one seriously if they cannot use simple grammer.
Maybe I am just nitpicking, but it does bother me. Everyone is guilty of typo's and the occasional spelling mistake, but not knowing which - there, their, or they're to use?
Maybe I posted this in the wrong forum, but this is the only one I look at.

poor English is better than no English and most understand what your getting at so stop trying so hard to be politically correct on these sites because it will aggravate and its not that important ( unless its for your job )

I don't understand the politically correct statement. Gramatically correct - yes, pc -no.
Yep, I expect some abuse, but it is ok. I can take it.
Darn prepositions.
From now on type like Yoda speaks I will.

yes, we are passionate people and we type fast cuz the words just wanna flow.
i'm just lazy! i don't use the caps like i should, but i KNOW HOW TO. i also know how to speak properly in a given situation. (i'm not good at spelling, either)
i use most of your examples correctly and i notice when other people do not, but it doesn't really bother me.
