Just got out of surgery!

RE: Just got out of surgery!
I have a question. After you wake up, as you're leaving the hospital passing whatever nurses, do they all say, "Hey (your name)"? Both times I've gone into surgery the passing nurses knew my name and when I passed the nurse station on the way out they said it also. Is it just me? Cause it's starting to freak me out.
As you come out of the forced nap, about 30 min before you start remebering stuff, you actually talk in between the shakes. For example, I escorted a buddy to knee surgery in Texas. The nurse called me to his bed at 2pm. He was talking normally and hitting on the nurses passing by. At 2:30 he started repeating stuff. He didn't remeber asking 3 girls out.

I also had the same situation last year. Was rushed in and they took the appendix out just in time. Apparently, if it burst, there is a chance you dont make it!!!!
I also woke up feeling ill from the anesthetic but the pain killer injections were a dream. I found the stomach very sensitive for a few weeks and sitting in one position for to long was hell.....thank God for decent Audi seats.
Good luck and speedy rcovery.

I still have all my body parts. I'm a big fan of not having any bolt-on parts or having anything removed. I had some extra hardware in my elbow for a little while, but they took it out. Mmmm... 6" pins.
