Well, I was looking at that link at the top of the site, and decided to apply to that car sponsorships thing. It says they will get back to me within 2 days, so I will tell you guys how it goes. I figured I'm gonna do the decal of all my parts companies this summer, so if I can make a quick buck for doin' it, why not?

why does it want your credit card information like the number

 

if you read the small print, it basically says that they will try to get you a 500 dollar sponsorship plus a quasi sponsorship which essentially means at cost prices on some parts. They will charge you 89 dollars for this service, regardless if you chose to take it or not, thats how they make money. But I guess if you prove to them that you attend shows and all that good stuff, they throw much better sponsorships down your way.

Got back the generic acceptance email. Looks good so far... sponsor package should be here in less than 2 weeks, right when my AXIS wheels finally get here. I'm super excited, I'll tell ya guys exactly what companies I picked up as soon as I find out.

Just wanted to give an update:
The full sponsorship is for DECALKITS.com. I'm trying to work out a custom deal (since I don't want any pansy Jap tuner graphics). I just want company logos on bottom door trim, subtle and sexy.
Quasi-Sponsorship for BLAUPUNKT... considering whether I'm gonna use it or not. Basically gives me oppurtunity to buy their stuff below dealer cost. Cool, but I already have Rockford and Pioneer and have to look into how good their quality of sound is.
Yep- so nothing big, but wanted people to know, in case they were wondering what this was all about.
