No way man, how so? Especially now that 3rd party applications are out (yes, if you own an iPhone you can upgrade to the new 2.0 firmware and start downloading stuff now!!) and the new iPhone is 3G and has GPS, I don't see how RIM can compete.

dont drop verizon for the iphone, that is retarded. just get the dare. it is practically the same thing, but i like it better, and i dont want to be a kid with an iphone, you look like a tool in my opinion, but hey, that is just my opinion.

i dropped cingular yesterday and got verizon and i love it. just take 20 minutes out of your day and check out the dare, it came out the 3rd, i think it is the iphones main competition.

^^^^^ someone's a lil mad they can't get out of their Verizon Contract lol... Don't get me wrong the Verizon service is the best and ATT is not lol but the iPhone set the standard for touch screen phones... I've used all those other "iPhone killers" and the touch screen doesn't even compare... its unresponsive and clunky... it just feels wierd...

 

The iPhone has been out long enough now - if he really wanted one, I really don't think he would've entered in a contract with Verizon.

 

Sony P1i > Iphone. much better for modification to your own specs, software wise at least.

I have an ipone and love it, the service just sucks ***** with att even in a pretty populated area, i really want 3g,

 

yeah I kaam not completely sure I want to switch but its very tempting. I have an iPod touch, whxh I actually using to write this right now, so I really like how everything works. I also just looked up and we have 3g in our area now. So I think I will do it.
