My dad had a buddy who worked for microsoft up in washington. He took us to the microsoft store and everything there was rediculously cheap. Brand new xbox360 games (when 360 JUST came out) for $20 (granted they were made by microsoft). That's a pretty good deal I'd say since new games are $60. Not sure the exact discount on everything but most of the stuff there was very very cheap

except that the 1x 25% and 3x 15% discount applies to a complete system as well as iphones, ipods, time capsules, Apple TVs, etc... and occasional free software... and 50% off the 3rd party stuff...
oh and we are hourly/commissioned based so we get paid around the same as the lowest paid Genius Bar employee plus a pretty nice commission check every month (granted we hit our goals)
