Hey Ya'll. Sorry for the hella delay on the update, after i had the first interview i was on vaca with my family down in SoCal and what not, then i moved back to my home town and with my parents in case this corporate gig doesn't work out, the Costco i initially got hired with and worked at in the summers from college is rebuilding so i wanted to be back here in case i dont get hired at corporate, i am at a place where upward potential is more possible with a new bldg.

Anyways. First interview went great, i was a lil nervous because it was in fact over the phone and there was a lack of nonverbal and interpersonal elements, but i managed to pull through just fine. After the interview they told me that they could contact me on Friday 7-31, Monday 8-3, or tuesday 8-4 for a second interview, and if I didn't hear from them then well, no second interview. So, all 3 days came (Friday being the last day of my vaca but i still had my phone) and no call, so i was like, o well, better luck next time. Then all the sudden this past friday 8-7 i was down in Seaside at our annual volleyball tourney (which in fact is the largest amateur open tourney in world, 93 courts, 700 teams) and i was gettin my drink on and i get a call. It was corporate apologizing for the delay and them asking if tuesday (yesterday) i would be interested in a second interview.

So i had my second interview yesterday with 3 of the guys who would potentially be my bosses, and i personally think i nailed it, it was a phone interview again. I feel that via their responses i answered every Q just how they wanted, and the questions i had for them got me some credit because they told me that what i asked them about the position, showed that i was already being proactive about solving a problem that i dont even know will occur since i have not been trained, they were impressed.

After the interview they told me that out of the 21 people that received first interviews, only 3 people got second, and i was one of them i was happy when i heard that.

So, now i just gotta wait till tomorrow or friday, that is when they said they should be calling to let me know if i got the job or not.

PLUS.. on Friday morning i have a first interview for the same job, just different dept. and i feel extremely confident going into this first one after hearing the news that i was able to pull a top 3 candidate spot for this departments position.

it's been a while since I've checked in man... good to see some good news waiting. I'll be crossing my fingers for you man, but it sounds like you've got this pretty well handled on your own. Keep it up!

Yeah X-terras are cool but you can't beat the rings man. Good luck and I hope everything works out. FWIW I'd try to go CPO if at all possible, new cars are way over-priced and the depreciation is f*ckin insane. Get it!
