Happened to me with Comcast..most likely you gotta get a new modem. The old ones don't support the
new network speeds/networks themselves. Worked perfect since upgrading.

I don't know what's up with that. My comcast works most of the time. It does bail on me sometimes though.

You might be on old copper lines still, I had the same problems and couldn't get the full bandwidth. I called them and had them move my dsl to go over their fiber lines to the DSLAM. This fixed the problem and I'm now able to get full 3mbps bandwidth. I'm not sure if fiber is available in your area but if it is they can switch you over at no charge. If this is not possible where you live I'd switch to cable...

Oh, one more thing. I kinda got ahead of myself. You should first try swapping out the modem and see if that helps. It's also possible that the wiring in your house is bad, so theres a ton of different things that might be wrong. What you can also do is call them and have them test the lines for errors going to your house.

i dont think its the wires but im tryin to get my hands on a modem so i can use and check because i dont want to spend money on a new modem when i dont have to, i hope its the carrier not the modem

but this is getting annoying

you might want to ask them to check your phone line because if you're on older lines or jacks it might cause this issue.
