After seeing the warnings in thread topics, I was wondering what everyones connection speed is.

I got one of those super cable connectionsi forget what its called like 5meg service or something dum.
i wanna get verison fiber when it comes around o.O

I'm kind of lucky that I have 2 distribution boxes with fiber uplink within 1 mile of my house. 6 meg for me!

If you're talking about Verizon FIOS dont be too anxious to get it. Once they bring FIOS fiber to your house they pull the old copper. This now means that Verizon is the only carrier than ever provide phone and internet to that house.. unless you go with a cable company.

at work they use "frame" ???
not sure what it is exactly - he says its not T1 but something else...

A frame relay network is a type of network using different transmission protocol most often over some type of T-carrier, could be Fractional T1, 2xT1, T3, ISDNetc....

Its old and almost obsolete/out-of date. Sort of like still having a regular TV when there is HDTV out there. It gets the job done but there are better things available.

Business DSL rocks out at about 7.5 meg, just waiting till FiOS comes to down
