Default Insurance

Hey everyone, just wanted to get an idea of what everyone is experiencing with regards to insurance these days. Who is you carrier and how much do you pay for your Audi? Have you had any claims? If so, were you satisfied with how it was handled? I have Indiana Farmers Insurance and pay $2190.00 annually for my 2000 A4 and a 2001 Pontiac Montana. Both vehicles have full coverage with a 3 million dollar umbrella policy. IMO insurance has become an increasing racquet in recent years. It seems the premiums keep going up, but what they are willing to pay on has decreased significantly.

It's a requirement for my job. It was either that or 500,000 / 500,000 liability. Indiana Farmers won't just cover one vehicle like that, you have to have that coverage on both. The 3 mill umbrella is actually cheaper than 500,000 / 500,000. They (my company) requires we carry that coverage, but of course, they don't pay squat for it.

Whats this umbrella thing? Never heard of that before

Im paying about 100/mo my wifes car is also on the policy making it a little cheaper. I just do the bare min. for full coverage. Being in a no fault state I have found the only thing insurance is good for is getting the tags for the car, and making the police happy should they happen to pull you over for something.

23 years old and I pay $1300 a year in WI. 300,000 / 300,000 full coverage and I've got a completely clean record. Insurance completely sucks ***. But, if you really hate payin insurance..get a Corolla..I think my insurance with that car was something like $300 a year (that's like the coins I find in my couch!).
