Could someone explain the difference between RS and S line Audis. Tell me everything you know...I'm interested in knowing so I can make a decision for my next Audi. Thanks.

 

Well are we talking brand new? If we're talking brand new 4's... You have the A4, then the A4 S-line (appearance pkg/sport pkg), then the S4 (340 hp 40 valve v8), then the RS4 (414hp 40 valve v8).

It all comes down to money.

the S model is an upgrade from the A. The RS model is an upgrade of the S model. RS is a wet dream.....period

 

Personally I think that the RS is way underpowered... I know you guys are going to hate me for saying something bad about it.. I love the car.. but think it should have a lot more power than that

 

I'm with you Redgoat. I would think it would have a lot more power as well. The money they are asking for it is crazy.

 

yeah.. thats probably the only gripe imaginable about that car though.. and yes it is a wet dream even if it is slightly underpowered

It's underpowered for a car that cost close to 80,000 bucks. Why not just get the ZO6?

 

Cause that's a totally different car. You can't hit the town with four people in a Z06. There are a lot of cars you can buy for $80K, but it depends on what you want in that car, not just raw numbers.
