anybody watching the irl race in st pete? i usually don't pay much attention to the series, but i like it when they are on street/road courses.

anybody watch the audi domination of the alms race yesterday? first and second overall, even though they lined up on the grid behind the penske porsches. plus they had to overcome a penalty! great stuff.

Hey we should plan a group trip to the midohio race on july 20-22. All the midwesterns can go. Im getting tickets when they go on sale!

 

If I wasn't in New Mexico then I would be at the ALMS race at midohio also. i love that place.

 

i live in columbus now, but grew up about 10 minutes from the track. it's a great place to watch a race. i will definitely be there for the indy car/alms weekend. tickets are actually already on sale at their Web site if you want to buy them. you get a discount if you pick them up ahead of time.

Idk about you guys but im leaning towa5rds going to the F1 race in Indy, like mid June.

 

I already emailed the PR director for audi racing and asked for some tickets. Lets hope she comes through. If not, i will buy them. Where is the best place to watch? We should all meet up there and hang together. Bring our audi flags!

 

check out the esses. which i believe are turns 6 and 7. there's some elevated viewing hills there where you can setup some chairs and plop your cooler of beverages next to you for the day. it's pretty awesome.

the cars come down the back straight and then probably brake to about 50 mph from 170 to enter the esses, then up one hill and down another. it's awesome.

No but i am TOTALY ready to go this year..... Whats the ticket prices for that event? Isnt F1 a lil expensive? from a ticket stand point
