The scary thing is that people are waiting for the companies to get there bail out money to invest. And take advantage of that $4
Best time to invest is in a depression

VW is/was looking into building a plant down south, think Alabama or Tennessee. Dunno what models will be coming out of there. Probably that GD Routan bastard child.

Got that right. I jumped in on GE stock a bit too early though, should have waited and picked it up for $16, but bought early and paid roughly $19. Last year it was something like $27.

Amen.

The union must go... 30 bucks an hour to do mindless and repetitive work is not justifiable. Slash wages down to 15 bucks an hour. It's enough to live on.

Ha, oil companies financing the bailout is clever.

the major problem is, the manufacturing plants are not as efficient as the japanese. also the engineers are too narrow minded but think too wildly. i'm sure more efficient plants with better engineers, maybe hire some japanese engineers, will get the big 3 back on their feet. you have to solve internal problems b4 you can deal with external problems. also, they should decrease their supply a bit. they have way too much over stock right now and overstock means money paid to store cars. that's just my views though but i am going to school for industrial engineer and we are the ones that try to deal with problems like these
