I wanna go fast!
Ok yes I have not been around long but I want to get to know the people on here and their current and past cars. Since I enjoy myself everytime time I'm on here so Im going to try to start a thread maybe some people will post to.
I'll pose a simple question and go first.
I know speeding is illegal and not condoned. But we have all done it so my question is....
What is your current landspeed record. whether it be car, bike, boat, or hovercraft if you are just that cool? What was the vehicle it was in. and any backstory behind it?
My Current is 142 in a 04' 40th Anniversary Mustang GT. Route 69 in williamstown NY. And I probably could have gotten a little more due to the mods but there was a curve in the road and I lost my *****. Adrenaline could only take me so far.

Speed record on a boat = 94, on my dirt bike (2008 ktm 250sx) = 86, on a speed bike (gsxr 1100) = 198 and on a car ( wrx sti 2007) = 175 ... the scariest but still the best one was on a speed bike because you know your dead if something goes wrong ... but what a adrenalin rush ...

fastest I've driven - 130mph, Top'd the 12v out
fastest I've ridden - 155-160 Brabus SL65
Fastest boat -55mph
fastest bike - cruising riding on my uncles Harley so no more than 20mph, but once I get a ride on my friends R6 im sure it will jump considerably.
fastest plane I've flown - whatever speed a beach bonanza goes
Fastest plane ridden in - Boeing 757 cruising speed.
fastest I've ridden - 155-160 Brabus SL65

I've only gone about 120ish mph in a MkIV GTI.
The only car I've even driven that could go fast was an E39 M5, but I only went 110 in it, since I had my cousin in the car and it was his father's car.
Other than that, I'm a slow driver.

To be exact, it was 280 kmh so 173,9 mph ... my friend have one hell of a sti ( 700bhp ) ... so yes it's real ...

You did 120 AND took a picture? I sure hope that was your passenger did that. lol otherwise thats pretty ballsy.

I was 17 or so when I did that.. I did take the pic while driving, but if you see the highway I did it on, you'd see that it's not as stupid as it sounds. The highway is very straight and smooth. But, anyways, I don't do dumb **** anymore.
