Joined the Army 19 years ago, 5 years AFTER graduating High School. But, I've learned ONE important thing, in all my years. Growing OLD is mandatory. Growing UP is optional. I've been places most of you have only dreamed about (Eastern and Western Europe, for instance). Done things few of you would even consider (ever been on the high side of 150, on a public highway, IN THE RAIN?). Anybody know how far it is between Wurzburg and Frankfurt am Rhein? I did it in 42 minutes, once... I was flyin low. 3 o'clock in the a.m.. I've owned 5 different BMW's, a Porsche, 2 Alfa Romeo's, and one SERIOUSLY fast Opel. Have fun whereever you can. In the end, all you really get to keep are your memories. Everything else falls in the category of "things." And, you can't take "things" with you. FYI, above 100, your wipers barely touch the windscreen... Unless you've applied spoilers to them, that is.

I've got another year after this one, but I'm only gonna be taking 3 academic courses. AP English, Government/Econ, and AP Physics. Then I'll have 2 consecutive periods in the school auto shop (one advanced auto, one aiding) which really means time to go cruising around the open road. And then I'll have a free period too.
I hate school, but at least I'm gonna make the best of it.

the only thing i like better about college is getting to pick the days and times of my classes...
in highschool (catholic, all girls, and we wore uniforms btw lol) all i did was sleep and get high in the bathroom...what i would give to be able to do that again. I though college was going to be a piece of cake, turns out you need to actually attend classes and do the work in order to pass - what a shock!!!
I'm graduating in December with a degree in Special Education and i can't wait...Its so much easier to be up in front of the class then in those seats trying to stay awake and not show the teacher your hungover lol.
And I promise, most of your teachers hate school too!!! Don't think your the only one that PRAYS for snow days...
