I got arrested last sunday. I got to sit in jail in Norwich for 4 hrs until dad came and posted bail. Court for me is Dec. 16th.
whats the criminal possession of a weapon about? Since when was it illegal to carry a knife?

It isn't illegal to carry a knife in most places, but a lot depends on what type of knife it is and/or how long the blade is, and whether or not it is in plain view or in a holster or hidden from view. Also makes a difference why they found it - once it can become an 'intent' issue, the stakes go up.
audijp98 - most police will approach and be more than a little amped up when they approach a car they've had to chase; especially when it's been traveling over 100 mph.
As for her attitude and you getting run off the road, remember that you are the one who put yourself in those situations by intentionally breaking the law of the land. Don't be blaming others for your misconduct; it resolves nothing and show failure to take responsibilty for one's actions in the court's eyes. just and fyi.

Doing 112 and two cars passed you? I doubt that very much. And if you were clocked at 112, it seems unlikely that was your peak speed.
I wouldn't be upset that she was yelling and had her hand on her gun. That's what they are trained to do. Put yourself in her shoes... you were driving like a douche and then the door opens up on her? Yeah, I'd probably have had my gun out of the holster and pointed at you.
