Lucky for me, I work at a nice joint here in town, valet parking cars, and it just so happens a guy came in tonight in his new R8. He asked me to take good care of it. Of course, no harm in an easy lap around the block, right? Actually, I did drive it around the block but only so I could pull it into our VIP spot. nice car. also, no more than an hour goes by and a younger guy pulls up in a mod'ed B6 S4. It, too, toured the block and landed a spot up front next to the R8.

We've been seeing quite a few more audi's these days at the valet stand than in years past. I guess people are finally getting the memo. One of our regulars has a new RS4 and a fellow came in a few weeks ago in a RS6. A guy down the street drives a new S8 but it has not made an appearance at the restaurant.

meanwhile, I'll be driving my 96 fwd 2.8 B5, saving my tip money, and daydreaming.

 

Sounds like I need to find a valet job!!

No offense but if I had an R8, I wouldn't valet it.

 

Haha it's nights like that, that i enjoy being a valet. I wasnt working the night the R8 came into my restaurant, still waiting for it to come back.

 

hmm note to self, get a flash loader and install valet mode.

 

I wouldn't give ANY car to a valet, ever. Especially something like an R8.

I wouldn't either. Nothing against aveneu either it is just personal prefference. If i had an R8 i would bring cones and park way in the back and put cones around the car!!

 

Damnn... I thoght I told you very clearly to park it there and not drive around... One thing for sure "Mister", I am not coming to your restaurant again, and the Risotto wasn't great either.
