I was hoping for a REALLY good zombie movie. I havent seen it yet but it looked great. Unfortunatly people have been telling me that it was good, and they liked it, but the pg-13 rating ruined it. Its a zombie movie, we need gore! Dawn of the Dead (new) still remains one of the best..
dawn of the dead was tight they had no shame. i usually dont care to watch action or horror movies that arnt rated r, it feels like they cant say ****. but i am legend was tight i saw it twice (cuse i was drunk the first time) it was deffinetly worth it.

did you do IMAX 3-D? cause i can see how amazing that movie would be like that

no.. unfortunately where we saw it - was just IMAX -
a buddy of mine saw beowulf in imax 3d - he said it was insane.

if ur just looking / expecting to see an all out zombie movie -
this may not do it for u.

i say go in not expecting anything - just take it for what it is...
and u should be surprised.

It's the same movie like the movie 28days later, but with a little bit different actors...But I like movies where the main hero is in the empty dead city and can take and use whatever he wants...[sm=bounceybounce.gif]

I Am legend was based on a novel of the same name -
There were 2 movies that came out before this 3rd adaptation..
the last survivor & Omega man w/ Charlton Heston.
wow, mate, I'm impressed.

Read the story - more a novella - by Richard Matheson (very prolific writer - great stuff). Simple story. Funny thing - the first move: The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price followed the story better than either the heston or Smith version... but hey, it was a rather boring movie plot to have him held up in a house in a suburban Los Angeles area, eh?

Looking forward to seeing it this weekend - that and National Treasure - hard to go see movies anymore with the wide screen HD tv at home
