Default Hyundai Sonata

Anybody else think the new sonata looks really bloody nice? The commercial with the 6 of them driving in formation, and the "camera" goes around them all, as they go around a track.

I mean, its not like the nicest car on the road or anything, but if it drives nearly as good as it looks, Hyundai has definately struck new ground.

Hyundai has been trying hard to move themselves up in the market - especially since buying Kia... They need to distance themselves from the lower Kia brand

Agreed, Kia's are pretty hurtin to drive.

They have definately set themselves apart with the new sonata.

Here are pics: like I said, it's not the nicest car on the road... but it is certainly a huge improvement over previous hyundais.

NEbody here old enough to remember when Honda & Toyoda used that same basic business model to get a toehold in the American market, then gradually crawled their cars upmarket? Hyundai is just doing it, like, 15years faster than Honda and Toyoda. Subaru, and Mazda also used a modded version of that same buss model. I give Hyundai, say, 5-10 more years and they'll have a "Luxury" division, too.
