How's Your Day?

FIVE hrs of OT tonight. $$$/10
and an early 7+/10 for tomorrow because Im NOT working OT.
Last year I worked 60-70 hrs a week, but got burned out, especially when Rennline moved to the new building, and we were trying to pump out a bunch of stuff to make up the downtime while the waterjet got moved. At that point, another guy worked from 5:30am to 4pm, and I worked 4pm until 2am... for 3 months straight. Was supposed to be a couple weeks, but then some huge orders came in.
Last spring, after the move was complete, I told the boss I WOULD NOT work OT during the summer. Especially after buying the boat. Well, summer is gone, and I need more play money, so I'm up to 50-60hr weeks.

hey, boats and big fuel pumps don't come free, right?
speaking of... stupid little plastic fitting that screws onto the intake of the big pump so you can clip a fuel sock on cost me $30. The fuel sock was another $20.

crappy rainy day, spending it running all over town to find a M12 female banjo fitting.
People might preach 'shop local' (at least in VT), but I wasted probably $10 in gas driving around trying to find a place that had what I needed. Ended up just buying it online.
5/10.. wait, no work, no OT today, 8/10

It's a pertty day here in Ohio too mid 60's and slightly cloudy i'm now just in the hangover ending stage from last night and I'm gonna go shower and then start HW for the day. Hopefully I'll find a car soon and I can't wait to get trained for my new job soon.

changed my oil and my fuel filter today. 8/10. Always relaxing being able to do a little inspection/monitoring of the condition of my engine, and generally being satisfied with the results.
Its low to mid 60's out here too. Pushing the broom around to clean up the speedy-dry made me dangerously close to breaking a sweat. I've already adjusted to the cold of late fall/winter.

^ So how's the house boat doing? You need to update us with new pics!
Had a great day today. Was a busy one but it was amazing.
Giving today a 9/10 which is pretty rare and the whole weekend a 8/10.
