I got a 2.8 with the 30v, really if I could get it with a stick it would run better. I drive an A6 too so I guess that makes me a little different, but a car that can run smooth at 130 and feel sturdy is alright in my book.
I have had it almost two years now and do all my own maintenance so if you ever need tips, I am sure there is a good crowd of 2.8'ers here that could save you a ton of cash telling you how to do stuff yourself. (eg my timing belt job cost 200 dollars for a belt, two pulleys, a water pump, and thermostat-- discount 600$ labor) Yeah buy a Bentley or a Chilton (A-4/ Passat).
