Default how high is too high?

all of the 97+ A4s that i can find in my price range have between 100k and 140k on the odometer... should i look for a different car, or buy a high mileage A4? also, what kind of problems should i look out for when looking at these high mileage cars? i'm hoping you guys will say that these are like BMWs and will run forever even with high mileage...

ive heard audis with 200,000+ miles and running fine. Its all about how well the were maintained. When u check out a car, look at all the fluids, make sure they are clean and there at the right amount. (thatll show how good they have been maintained) Stuff like that. Also ask for addition records about the car about services and stuff like that. goodluck

man, I thought this was gonna be about drugs. OH well. you should look at the dipstick to see if anything looks caked or burnt on to it. And just my personal opinion, I would stay away from salt cars if that was an option.

Hey Sneak,

I don't remember thet details but I think you said your soft ceiling was $5-6K? And you're from MOFN Michigan? I found you some potential rides for your consideration... Their all in IL. All on dealer lots. Din't bother looking 2 C where in IL, just that they were in IL, ya kno...

Check 1

Check 2

Check 3

I just noticed, one of them is from LuxuryMotors. It's a little west of ChiTown. Where I got my A8 from. They did right by me.

Luxury motors is a great place to buy a car, go to their website, luxurymotors.com and search for the car you want. There are so many pix of each car you feel like you know all about it b4 you go see it, and they only sell good cars, no crap

Migt wanna post the same Q in teh A4 section, or do a search. May be specific to a particular engine and/or drivetrain? Not an A4 roller, myself...
