how do u set up a LAN on a pc?

make sure your workgroup names are the same. rihgt click on my computer go to properties and then go to computer name and change the workgroup name from each computer to the same thing we normally use "workgroup"

wrokgroup names wont matter unless you're browing (local network for file)

his IP range just has to be the same

Gateway
IP
Subnet
