how do u set up a LAN on a pc?
i am having problems setting up a local area network on the pcs in my house. lol we wanna play the new rainbox 6 vegas but dont know how to setup a LAN. if someone can help it would be great... thanks,

How are your computers set up? Are you trying to do it wirelessly? Just hook up 2 computers together physicaly?
What operating system? There is a LAN/WLAN setup wizard that should do most of the work for you.

for hard-wired they all have to have different IP's. Like 000.000.000.001/000.000.000.002/000.000.000.003, and so on. Same gateway, same subnet, different IP

If you're using a router, all you should have to do is plug the other computers into the ethernet ports of the router... the router should be set up as DHCP already and automatically assign LAN IP addresses... you should really look at the instructions that came with your router. good luck!
