What's everyone doing for the holidays?

I'm going back home to NorCal for a week (Vacaville). I haven't been home for Christmas since 2000. My sister and will be suprising my mom next Friday. New years I'm going to my aunt's place in Long Island City across the river from Manhattan.

 

Not much going on here... just working. Vacaville isn't that far away from me. I was actually thinking about going up to Tahoe one of these days when we get some more snow.

 

Since I'll be doing virually nothing for a couple days after, I'm thinking about visiting 034 Motorsport in Fremont and maybe a couple other places. There's alo a VW/Audi meet in Dixon Thursday nights I might hit up.

 

Schools out on the 20th for me...on the 24th I fly down to LA for 12 days to see friends and my dad...

gonna rent a car for the 12 days and prolly gonna head to Las Vegas for new years with a few friends...(should be rediculously fun!)

then on the 4th I fly back up to redding, school starts again jan 15...so, I'll prolly just spend time w the gf and try to get some snowboarding in!

 

Gonna head down to Cuba to get away from absolutely everything. No phone, email, or any communication.

Just beach, sun, and scuba-diving. Should be an awesome time.

 

everyone comes to my house for 3 days.
we eat, we party, we open gifts,we party, we eat, we party, we play with gifts, we party, we eat, we party, we cook more food, we party, we eat.
you get the idea.

So your a scuba diver? Are you certified? Through what program? I got certified through SSI and have done a bit of diving over the past 2 years, not as much as i would like to. The farm is so buisy in the summer me and my dad cant get away and college gets in the way of me taking 10 day trips to the Caribbean in the middle of a semester. I hear cuba has some beautiful diving, im very jealous you will be getting some bottom time and i wont. I though it was difficult for US citizens to go to cuba? Has/is that changing?

I will be going to Negril Jamaica on the 27th for 15 days. Negril isnt just a place, its a state of mind. Unfortunatly i dont think ill be bringing allong the gear this time. But hey that just means ill have more time to drink rum punch and red stripe on the beach. With the occasional break for a fatty and some jerk chicken
