High Perfomance Ironing??
#3
That iron is 90% there... True, its made in Germany, AND says MAX, right on the side, but its ONLY 1700 watts. You'd need a 300watt booster amp to hit 2000!!! Plus, its missing a teflon coating on the sole-plate! THAT would mean TRUE high-performance!

No but it has 22lbs of steam psi and can go from zero to 6 inches in about 2 seconds. Actually all the best irons have stainless steel sole plates. Just look at any quality dry cleaning business and they are all using stainless sole plates. I actually did research on irons before I purchased and had never heard of Rowenta until then, but they get the best reviews and are used by more seamstress and dry cleaning professionals then any other iron. I know, how pathetic ........

I HAVE THE SAME IRON!! I love it. Thought I was the only one who actually cared about my iron. Good to see you bought that model, lower models are actually made in China, I searched 3 stores to find a Rowenta made in Germany.
