High End Opinion
I have been hired as a marketing consultant for a client who is selling his $4,900,000 house.
One of our marketing tools is a website specifically designed for his house.
www.kylelakehouse.com
I consider the users of this forum to be the correct demographic to ask for an opinion.
What do you think? Would it meet your standards as a potential buyer?
Thanks for the feedback!

RE: High End Opinion
Usually the OT is a great place to ask an opinion on pretty much anything. But it's considered bad form for your first-ever post on the forum in any section to be a thinly veiled attempt to drive traffic to your own website. Even if you're not trying to spam, it's still kinda stupid. I mean, would you walk into a room of strangers and say, "Hey, anybody want to buy this $4.9M house I'm selling?" or would you say, "Hi everyone, I'm Joe! What's going on?"

Well-put. To comment on your original post too - this forum is largely comprised of 20-somethings (as far as I can tell) with some of us in our 30s/40s. It's doubtful that we're the target demographic for the purchase of a seven-figure-tagged home. There are some here who would qualify, but I'd bet most of us would be laughed out. Probably better off on www.nsxfiles.com or a Ferrari/Lambo forum if you're selling in that market.

RE: High End Opinion
Since this is my first attempt at getting a virtual opinion, can anyone provide and acceptable way to go about this task? I'm just the marketing guy that would prefer not stepping off on the wrong virtual foot.
