hid ballast and bulbs

Okay i want to purchase a hid bulb for my 2003 audi a4. i was looking at this http://www.ddmtuning.com/hidkihidbuhi.html kits AApexcone 35W/55W Full Size Ballast HID KitApexcone is a 3/4 size ballast kit. and was wondering if anyone has expireence with this bulbs and how hard is the install. They are fairly cheap and i was thinking of 8000k and depending on that maybe do the fogs. Input.

There's a guy here that sells HIDs are $130 for 12,000k and below HIDs, and $150 for anything above 12,0000k. He's not running an actual business, but I guess all the businesses are jealous of his deals. His brand was a German brand, but he was talking about how most of these HIDs sellin around are just knock-offs that are japanese made and what not. I'm a little confused about that. HIDs are HIDs, aren't they??

As with anything, the quality of the components that go into the product determine the quality of the product. I have no idea who has the highest quality country-wise, but the Philips kit I had in my 300Z was fantastic - it seemed much better made than the VVME and related kits for a number of reasons.
To the OP, go for it, but stick with 6000k and below for optimum light output.
