there are different kinds of 3M tape..if you bought one of the cheaper spoilers they may have used the cheap tape...i would either 1. go to a hardware store and pick up the heavy duty outdoor 3M stuff, or 2. go to a bmw dealership and pick up the oem tape...i used the oem tape (~15 bucks, a little expensive but i say its worth it)...it's thinner than the 3m stuff, softer, and more tacky too. i've had mine on for about 6 months now and its still solid..i've even tried pulling on it just to test how strong the bond is and it is definitely not coming off anytime soon.

when we point out this low life it will continue "theft is their job" so I don't see ant future in cars-- but its getting better now all we need is a loaded gun or a knife and that's bad, UK perspective only

It was a more expensive one. It cost about 120 bucks and the tape is very strong but just not strong enough on the ends where the trunk curves down. I think I'm going to go to the hardware store like you said and get the really strong stuff and just put a tiny piece under each end and hope that it stays.

Drill a small screw up through the inside of the trunk, up into the spoiler on each end. Thats sort of invasive, but it would probably work. Maybe you are just hallucinating from your "late night smoke sessions"?

LOL. That was pretty funny.
