Ok, even though I thought Hostel was lacking big time, I still find myself thinking about it at random times during the day. In retrospect, I guess the first torture scene and the infamous "eyegasm" scene were gory, but aside from that, I didn't really see anything that should've made anyone nauseous. Maybe the feeling of dread you get for the main character at one point. At first this movie seemed so crappy, but after thinking about it for like 4 days now, I've started to like it more. Maybe I'll even watch it again on HBO one day.

Be warned: If you feel mainstream movies like Saw, Hostel, Wolf Creek etc are hard to watch, too gory, too violent etc I suggest you stay well away.

No. I have seen the AU and AU Mordum movies though. They are 2 of the most notorious "horror" movies out there and a friend had a copy so we watched it with some friends. Pretty sick psuedo-snuff attempts. BUT once you get over the initial shock and realize that it is all just make-up, then they become pretty boring. Just a showcase for decent FX work. Still pretty nasty though.
