I don't mess around with blenders though. that **** gets messy. they're nice for all of the other stuff you're throwing in, but I'm only looking for the protein. the fruit and milk or juice are a good idea, but I'm getting that stuff in at a different time during the day. to each his own though.

that's a ****** solid breakfast man. I wish I still had time for that. enjoy your days in college when you can actually make breakfast every day. there's no time for that in the real world...

I run on coffee and protein bars in the morning, sometimes a dry bagel if I remember to bring one with me, a banana if I have one handy, and shakes between meals throughout the day. seems to get the job done.
boob5: Yea, I only use the magiv blender (which is hella easy to clean as well) because i like the cold refreshing shake feeling. helps me come back down off the rush from the naNO vapor i take before lifting.

Amze: I eat something similar, my breakfast is usually a serving of old-fashioned oatmeal (then I mix in a serving flax meal and a teeny tiny bit of organic light brown sugar, and like 1/4 cup blueberries), then 3 egg-whites, and depending on the day, 2-3 pieces of reduced fat turkey bacon.

Sometimes ill take a whole wheat English muffin, toast it, put on a lil omega-3 butter, 2 egg whites, and 2 pieces of turkey bacon, and make lil sammich out of it. all depends on the time frame i have.

: (

I wake up at 7, mad rush out the door by 7:15 to punch in by 7:30. I'll stop at the gas station on the way and pick up a couple bottles of vitamin water, and a box of donuts. The box of donuts gets me to lunch w/o being too hungry. Often I'll go to the grocery store deli for lunch and get a breaded chicken sandwich and a lb of potato wedges. That holds me until beer thirty. : )

To actually have time/motivation to lift... I'm a little envious. I put in a 15hr day today, I'm gonna go home, eat some chinese food, and crash.

i love sauna's they are so relaxing. thats the one thing i miss from the one year that i lived in a frat, we had one in the house, even tho you would have to lay down a towel cuz god knows what went on in there all the time, but it still felt good, specially to drink like 3 beers in there, get fckered up real fast.

Thats mostly my problem. My entire family keeps saying 'wait until you're a little older, you'll put on weight'.

I'm almost 27. How old do I have to be?

If I eat a ton of food, I don't get fat, I just get sweaty. Just throwing extra fuel on the fire.

28. here comes fatty! Dang man idk then, some people just are like that, i was when i was in high school, from playing sports and stuff i was always 5'10 and 168, all 4 years, regardless of how much i lifted, ate, what i ate, didnt matter, always stayed at that. I have a few friends whose metabolism is just to fast, one of them, he can eat and eat, like 6-7000 calories a day and never gain weight, in fact now, the last i saw him he was a little skinnier.

well... thanks for the motivation! geez!

heh, actually, I've accepted that I'm skinny as hell. Not too concerned about it, except when i could use some extra pounds when I need to put my shoulder into something to persuade it to move. I'll still try stuff from time to time (like now), see if theres something different I can do and maybe add 15-20 lbs. Thats all I'm really looking for.
