RE: guns
Since I know how to take care of a gun however, I'll stick with the USP40.

RE: guns
i didnt really like the way the HK felt in my hand when i was testing out guns at the range awhile ago. it came down to the glock and the springfield and the xd felt way better than the glock to me. eh apples and oranges i guess

RE: guns
thats a sweet gun. I love teh Smith and Wesson .22, its a nice easy shoot and i find it very acurrate for working on ur aim. I love berretas thou. HKs are nice but i just dont like the feel of them.
BUt what kind of gun were u talking about? Shotgun, rifle, assault rifle, handgun? Whats the intended purpose? Protecting the house, targeting shooting, competion, carrying a concealed?

Yeah, it's called "loose tolerances". Build something sloppy enough and it will work *pretty well* forever in horrible conditions. Just like the SKS. Great for Russian winter wars.

The fact is, guns are just as liable to get accidentally dropped in dirt, sand, etc. I think I'd choose the one that will actually shoot after I pick it up.

I think on mythbuster the glock was able to shoot under water and once it had been brought out it worked perfectly. I knew that glock claimed that but i had never seen it done. I think Glock and Beretta are some of teh most reliable guns. I pretty sure that the Berrate M9 is the one that is carried by US ground troops as a side arm. Now that is an accomplishment in itself. The army doesnt pick just any old gun for that.
