As promised here are the pics regarding the previous gun mod thread. Gun mods came and went on fairly smoothly. Definately feels quite comfortable and the light is perfect.

 

looks great! Makes me miss my baby have you thought about changing sights to something like the ACOG?

I really want the trijicon acog but it's $1,000. Once my dept approves red dot sights I plan on getting an EOTECH which is half the cost.

 

cool, but what are you going to do with a gun like that in the US??? or MD for that matter, haha

Really likin the look of it Honda. There's no real need to put a Trijicon on there.. waste of money imo. If you REALLY like the look of it and want the magnification, you could always buy a knockoff. I doubt you'll be abusing it enough to warrant a thousand dollar piece of magnification sitting on top of it. But then again what do I know, you might be recruited by SWAT tomorrow to go bust doors down for 15 years..

 

Heh well SWAT school just opened up but I need to do more physical training before I do something like that. As far as an ACOG, no there is no need for that. A red dot like EOTech or Aimpoint is actually pretty important because our iron sights are useless at night and I work 3pm-1am. I will definately be getting one in the near future. Sure I could just buy Trijicon night iron sights, but I want high visibility along with greater accuracy. Also red dots are better should I be in the unfortunate scenario where I need fast target acquisition.

 

Trijicon sights kick ***! I dropped them on my S&W and one of my Berettas!
