Default Guitar Hero III

It just came out as of Sunday. Me and a few of my friends went out a picked up a copy and rocked out afterward in some multiplayer. The song selection is awesome. Has everything from Heart to Killswitch Engage to Foghat to the Beastie Boys to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Go pick it up, I highly recommend it.

Yeah I need to go get that. Do you have it on PS3 or 360?

Niether, lolz! I have an Xbox but no 360 yet. I plan on getting one soon though, I'll let you know. We picked it up for my friends 360 and since he has two guitars, we were both able to rock out.

I'm still playing the Guitar Hero II and I still suck at it.

Need to get my hands on the third one and practice hard.

I'm not too good at GH either. I usually play on medium and sometimes hard depending on the song.

Have you tried playing with the controler? It's pretty fun.

I got it Saturday night at 12am. I'm really happy with it. Song selection is good, and even the ones I don't like are fun to play. I like the wireless guitar for X360, it feels much more solid than the X-plorer, buttons feel much better. Anyone played online yet?

Naw I havn't yet. I was thinking it would be boring. [&:] Now that you say it's fun, I may just try it.

The only two music games that I've liked where you make music using the controller only was Frequency and its sequel Amplitude, both on the PS2. Some may remember it but it came out a few years ago. Basically you were traveling down a wire and you have to trade of between the drums, synth, guitars, and so on as you twist through. To do that you had to movie to the left and the right and the trick was to keep in sync. It was a ton of fun.

Frequency;

Amplitude;

Looks great!

I have one for the Wii hanging in my office waiting for my wife's B-Day. She is a reformed big hair band headbanger. I guess it never fully gets out of your system though? LOL

Cheers!
